Cookie Policy
Premiership Survivor uses the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and the site secure. We also use optional analytics and advertising cookies, which are only set if you accept them.

1. What we use
Authentication cookies (strictly necessary)
Set by our authentication provider when you sign in, so the site knows you are logged in as you move between pages. They are HTTP-only, meaning page scripts cannot read them, and they expire. Signing out clears them. Without these cookies you cannot log in or make a pick.
Security cookies (strictly necessary)
Used to protect sign-in and form submissions against cross-site request forgery.
Local storage (preferences)
We store small preferences in your browser's local storage — whether you have collapsed the side navigation, and your cookie choice below. These are not cookies, they never leave your device, and they contain no personal data.
Google Analytics (optional)
If you accept cookies, we load Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies in your browser to recognise a returning visit. It tells us how many people use the site, which pages they visit, roughly where in the world they are and how they found us — for example whether they arrived from an advert, a search or a shared link. We use it only to understand and improve how the site is working.
We do not send Google your name, email address or any pick, payment or account detail. Analytics data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify you as an individual.
These cookies are off by default. Nothing is loaded and no data reaches Google unless you choose Accept on the cookie banner.
Meta advertising pixel (optional)
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. If you accept cookies, we load Meta's advertising pixel, which sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta when you visit a page, create an account, join the free game or pay to enter. We use it only to see which ads actually bring players in, so we are not paying for advertising that does not work.
This cookie is off by default. Nothing is loaded and no data reaches Meta unless you choose Accept on the cookie banner. Choosing Decline keeps it off, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which brings the banner back.
2. What we do not use
We do not sell your data or build profiles of visitors for anyone else. Apart from the optional Google Analytics and Meta pixel cookies described above, we run no other analytics, advertising, remarketing or social media tracking tags.
3. Third parties
When you make a payment you are taken to our payment provider's own hosted page. That page is operated by them and sets its own cookies, which are necessary to process the payment securely and are governed by their cookie and privacy policies.
If you accept cookies, the Meta pixel is loaded from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and Google Analytics is loaded from Google Ireland Limited. Both are governed by their own cookie and privacy policies as well as ours.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking our strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in and playing, as there is no other way for the site to recognise your session. Clearing this site's stored data also clears your cookie choice, so the banner will ask you again.
