Payments & Disputes
What you are charged, what you receive for it, and exactly how to get a payment problem sorted. We would always rather fix something directly than have you go through your bank — this page explains how.
What you are buying
A payment on Premiership Survivor buys a stated number of entries into a named competition. Before you pay you are shown the competition, the number of entries, the price per entry and the total. Nothing else is charged, and there is no subscription, standing order or stored balance.
Entries are issued immediately once payment is confirmed, and appear in your account straight away. If a payment succeeds but entries do not appear, that is a fault on our side — email us and we will fix it or refund it the same working day.
The evidence we hold for every entry
Every action on the platform is recorded server-side, so any question about a payment can be answered from the record rather than from memory:
- The payment itself — amount, date, provider reference, and which competition and entry count it paid for.
- The account it was made from, including the email address and the sign-up date.
- Every pick made with those entries, each with a server-side timestamp showing when it was submitted.
- The published pick deadline for each round, and the fixture data and result the round was settled on.
- Every automated email we sent to the account — pick confirmations, deadline reminders and round results — with delivery status.
- The competition rules that were in force at the time of entry.
A player can see nearly all of this themselves in their account at any time, without contacting us.
Why we expect disputes to be rare
The player knows what they bought before they pay
Price, entry count and competition are all displayed on the payment step. There are no add-ons, no automatic renewals and no charges after the initial payment — so there is nothing unexpected to appear on a statement later.
The service is delivered immediately and visibly
Entries appear in the account as soon as payment confirms, and the player then receives emails at every stage of the competition. A player who has picked, been reminded and been sent results has an unambiguous record of having received what they paid for.
The rules are published and were agreed at entry
Elimination and prize rules are published on the site before entry and accepted as part of our Terms & Conditions. Losing a competition is the published outcome of the game, not a failure to deliver the service.
Support is answered by a person
Every page carries a support address that reaches a human. Most payment questions are a misunderstanding that can be cleared up in one reply, which is far quicker for the player than a bank dispute.
Refunds
- If a payment is taken and no entry is issued, we refund it in full.
- If you are charged more than the price shown, we refund the difference.
- If we cancel a competition before it starts, all entry fees for that competition are refunded in full.
- If a duplicate payment is taken for the same entries, we refund the duplicate.
- Once a competition you have entered has begun, entry fees are not refundable simply because an entry is eliminated — that is the published outcome of the game.
Refunds are made to the original payment method, normally within 5 working days of us agreeing them.
How to raise a problem
Email support@premiershipsurvivor.com with the email address on your account and the date and amount of the payment. We aim to acknowledge within one working day and to resolve or explain within five.
If you do not accept our answer, tell us and we will review it again at a senior level before you take the matter further. Please contact us before raising a chargeback with your bank — a chargeback takes weeks, whereas we can usually refund directly the same day if a refund is due.
Prize payments
Prize funds are created from competition entry fees. The winner receives the published prize fund less the clearly disclosed 10% platform service fee.
We verify the winning entry against the competition record before paying, and pay by bank transfer to an account in the winner's own name, normally within 5 working days of verification. Full detail is in the Competition Rules.
