Playing the game
How do I enter?
Create an account, confirm you are 18 or over, and answer a short football knowledge question. Then choose a competition, choose how many entries you want, and pay the total shown. Your entries appear in your account immediately.
We are currently in an invite-only launch, so you will need an invite link from an existing player to enter a paid competition.
How do I win?
Pick one team per round and that team has to win their match. Win and your entry survives to the next round; draw or lose and that entry is eliminated. You cannot pick the same team twice in the same competition. The last entry left standing wins the prize fund.
What happens if I'm eliminated?
That entry is out of that competition and cannot be replaced, repurchased or revived. If you bought more than one entry, your surviving entries carry on as normal. When your last entry is eliminated, that competition is finished for you — you can still watch the results, and you can enter the next competition when one opens.
Can I buy another entry?
You choose how many entries to buy when you join a competition, up to a maximum of 10. Once a competition is under way there are no in-game purchases — you cannot buy extra lives, top up, or buy back an eliminated entry.
This is deliberate: it means the most a competition can cost you is fixed at the moment you enter it. See Responsible Participation.
What happens if nobody survives a round?
If every remaining entry is eliminated in the same round, the competition ends with no winner and the prize fund rolls over into a new competition. Entering that new competition is a separate, optional purchase — nobody is entered automatically or charged automatically.
What if my match is postponed or abandoned?
Rounds are settled on the official result of the fixture as played. If a fixture is postponed or abandoned so that no result stands by the time the round is settled, the affected entries are carried through to the next round rather than eliminated. Full detail is in the Competition Rules.
Can other players see my pick?
No. Picks stay hidden from everyone else until the round's pick deadline has passed. Once the deadline passes all picks are revealed together, so nobody can gain an advantage by waiting to see what others have done.
How does free entry work?
We run a free-to-enter competition alongside the paid games, using the same rules and the same platform. It costs nothing to enter and requires no payment details. You can play the free game here.
Money and prizes
How is the prize fund calculated?
Prize funds are created from competition entry fees. Every entry paid into a competition adds to that competition's prize fund. The winner receives the published prize fund less the clearly disclosed 10% platform service fee — so 90% of the fund is paid out to the winner. The current fund for each competition is shown on the entry page before you pay.
What does it cost to enter?
Competitions run at different entry levels — currently £5, £15, £30, £10 — and you choose which one to enter. The price per entry and your total are shown before you pay.
If you join a competition that has already played some rounds, the entry price is scaled to reflect the rounds already played, so late joiners contribute on the same basis as players who have been in from the start.
How are winners verified?
The winning entry is identified from the competition record — every pick, its timestamp, and the official result each round was settled on. Before we pay, we check the winning entry against that record and confirm the account holder's identity and age. We pay to a bank account in the winner's own name only.
How are prizes paid, and when?
Prizes are paid by bank transfer to an account in the winner's own name, normally within 5 working days of us verifying the win. We will contact you by email at the address on your account to arrange it.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, where something has gone wrong — a payment taken with no entry issued, a duplicate charge, an overcharge, or a competition cancelled before it starts. Entry fees are not refundable simply because an entry is eliminated, as that is the published outcome of the game. See Payments & Disputes.
Are my card details safe?
Card payments are handled entirely by our PCI-compliant payment provider on their own hosted pages. Your card number never passes through our systems and is never stored by us. More on our Security page.
